We had our wedding here on the 17th May and I can honestly say it was the most special day.

The beauty and nature surrounding the venue is breathtaking and I keep having to pinch myself that we got married here! Tracy the Oak Grove Manager went above & beyond to ensure our day was exactly how we wanted and was in constant communication with us which is fantastic.

Roz, Bec & Audrey were absolutely amazing and were so attentive! Anyone thinking of getting married here, do it!

Everyone at the Oak Grove was amazing and I could not recommend this venue enough, especially if you want to be looked after and giving a more personal wedding experience.

We were there on the hottest day in the year in September.

The leafy arbour and benches for the ceremony are lovely. The lavender confetti the couple chose worked well and I smiled as I took pictures of the blankets and umbrellas provided for cold and wet days.

The toilet facilities are amusing and kitted out with everything that might be needed.
The marquee and bar were well appointed, beautifully arranged and the staff very accommodating.

It was just perfect! One of my guests summed it up in one, very relaxed and super organised! I can only put that down to such an amazing team you guys have ! We couldn’t be anymore grateful for each and everyone, specially Tracy, Audrey and the two lovely morning ladies.

We got married at the magically charming Oak Grove in July 2023, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

The Oak Grove team helped us in every way, from regular communication throughout the year from the time we first booked, right up to sewing a button back on my dress on the day itself and making me an impromptu bouquet when I forgot my own.

No detail was overlooked. We had a lot of kids at our wedding, and so much entertainment was provided for them - a horsebox and a teepee full of toys and games.

From the day we first visited the venue and looked around, every single member of staff has been great. So friendly, so accommodating, so welcoming and also good fun!

All of our guests loved the venue. All have commented about how beautiful it was and how smoothly it is run. They also found all of the staff to be lovely.

Debs… just so lovely. Nothing was too much, you accommodated our every need and kept us laughing whilst setting up and packing away. What a little asset you are to The Oak Grove. 

Stacy/Jackie – what a combo!!! Thank you both so much. You kept us going, gave us the reassurance we needed and made it all seem so easy. Thank you so much, we loved having you working with us.

Audrey – the only person who has ever told me (Mark) what to do… and I listened! Thank you for being the quiet eye on everything running so smoothly. My default is to be in control and your attention to detail meant I could relax. Thank you, really appreciated! 

Finally, Tracy… every time we visited, every time we emailed, nothing was too much. Your organisation and planning made it all run perfectly. We loved working with you.

Thank you to all of the other staff who were involved along the way as well.

We will miss not coming up for each and every open event! But will tell as many people as we can about how wonderful the place is.

We wanted to say how grateful we are for our wedding last week. Everything seemed to go so perfectly - some of our older guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and so many people commented on how well run things were. It was such a smooth operation, all your staff were so efficient and yet always friendly and helpful.

I know I will forget some names so apologies, but as a start...

Thank you to Stacy, Bec and Roz for looking after us before and during the ceremony, and for all their advice the day before. Thank you to Debbie and Pui for running everything so well, we really appreciated them keeping us up to date with what was coming up next to ensure things stayed on time.

A really special thank you to Camille, who spent a lot of time looking after one of my elderly guests, Patricia. Patricia was originally coming with her own guest who was going to drive/chaperone her throughout the day, but at the last minute the guest had a family emergency. We managed to organise a lift for Patricia but it did mean that she didn't have a designated person to keep an eye on her, and Camille did this so well. I can't tell you how much that meant to me as Patricia is an extraordinary lady and I'm so glad she was still able to enjoy the day. So thank you thank you thank you to Camille💖

Thank you of course to the wonderful staff who ran the bar and the cocktail bar, we are glad we decided to set up a tab as people really seemed to enjoy it.

We also met Jill and Andrew on the Thursday/Friday who were both so welcoming and helpful, whilst getting everything set up.

Lastly thank you to Sam and Paul, we met you way back in January 2022 when we first came to view the venue, and even in the bleak January weather we knew it was going to be perfect, and it was 😊.

I'm sure there are others who I have forgotten, but please pass on our thanks to everyone involved. I'm particularly sad that unless I can convince someone else to get married there, I won't be able to visit again! It's such a magical and calming place to be.
